After close to 80 years in the jewelry industry, the Walsh family is stepping away from the business. It’s been an incredible journey, and we’re grateful to have been part of Rhode Island’s heritage as the Costume Jewelry Capital of the World for so long. But it’s time for a new chapter.

We are very happy to announce that another great local family business, Snow Findings, will take over the operation of the Tri-Bro product lines. They are in the process of moving our machinery, tools and materials into their factory and will continue production there in September.

New orders can now be placed with them by calling 401-821-7712 or emailing sales@snowfindings.com. They will honor our prices and minimums through the end of the year, and they will continue to use the Tri-Bro item numbers.

 

We will be in the office at Tri-Bro through the end of September to assist with the transition. Please be patient with us, as there are a lot of moving parts and some things will take time. It will be very helpful to Snow if you can place orders using Tri-Bro item numbers (rather than descriptions) and if anyone would like a download of their order history sent to them, please email christine@tri-bro or call 401-781-6323.​​

As you can imagine, after 78 years in the business, we have a lot of excess inventory and material still in our building, and we’d like to get it in the hands of designers and creators rather than the scrap bin.

 

If you’re local (or able to come to Rhode Island), you can make an appointment with me to come in and shop our findings for $10 per pound. Vintage wire and patterned strip stock is available for $6 per pound, though you must purchase the entire coil. Appointments can be made between Sept. 22 and Oct. 3.

 

If you’re unable to come in person, I’m happy to take an item list for you and tell you what’s available. For items that Snow Findings will be continuing to produce, we will ask you to order from them. But for items that are being discontinued, we will offer a 50% discount.
